Picton is the top of the South Island and the gateway to Marlborough. The wine country starts a short drive south, Nelson and the Abel Tasman are an easy run west, and the Sounds are right on the doorstep.

A private day tour does not have to finish where it started. Auckland out to Rotorua, or Christchurch through to Queenstown, are two of the most popular one-way days we drive.
